Motivation
I attended high school specifically to major in its law program, hoping to get a head start on becoming a criminal lawyer. My goal was to help those in my community who were wrongly convicted or unfairly targeted by an unjust system.
It all began in 4th grade, when my teacher suggested I pursue law. I had a knack for defending my friends, so I went along with the idea for years. But as I grew older, I started uncovering my true skills and passions—and with that came a deeper realization.
Why not address the problem at its root? Why not create a world where people in my community aren’t at risk for being wrongly convicted or targeted in the first place?
That’s when the idea for my nonprofit was born. The Poster Project Foundation exists to tackle the mindset and systemic factors that lead to injustice. This is only the beginning of what’s to come. I encourage you to learn more about the A_Poster_Project Initiative and its plans. This is just the seed.
